Ordering the Eurokey

The persons entitled to a Eurokey can prove their disability, that makes the use of special facilities for the mobility impaired necessary, by presenting themselves in person or by submitting a copy of the appropriate document (e.g. wheelchair users, persons with walking disabilities, also blind persons).

In the sense of help to self-help, the key is to be issued solely to permanently disabled persons and not to institutions, temporary carers, etc.

Only the personal issue, as described here below, makes it possible to protect the facilities that are so important for you from misuse. The protection of your personal data is guaranteed, any other use is ruled out.

An Authorized Issuing Agency eurokey.ch appraises in the personal identification whether a person fulfils the prerequisites for issue. If a meeting in person is not possible, the key is obtained by:

1. Answering the information requested.
2. Sending a copy of the disabled person's identity card or an equivalent document confirming the disability (this will be destroyed after inspection).
3. By paying the key costs of CHF 25.- into the issuing agency's account.
